Personal Investments • Rebalancing AA, glidepath, and 457 for early retirement

There is no way to know now which will turn out "better". Stocks could outpace bonds or we could go into one of those decades where bonds outpace stocks. The important thing is the AA of your portfolio, not so much any one account.

If putting the bonds into some other tax-deferred account makes the most sense to you, do that. I would not avoid bonds in the 457 and hold them in Roth or taxable instead though.
