Definitely not an off roading candidate. I had the better part of a decade of my life driving a 4x4 Tacoma. Not going to replicate the off roading experience in an SUV. At least the ones available today. So mish mash on roader it is for me.Crazy HP, but it doesn't look like it's meant for real off road.Personally I have zero interest in both SUVs and sedans. To me the ideal vehicle is the Lucid Gravity. It's a good looking hybrid mish mash of a minivan, SUV and station wagon. At 16.5 feet in length it's not too long and unruly...not too short; easy to park. Low center of gravity and relatively low roofline (easier for cars to see around you when people are driving behind). Easy to get in and out of the seats (not too high off the ground, not too low like a sedan).
Perfect "just enough" commanding height to see what you need to see. Easy to add roof racks if needed. It's fully electric. Crazy efficiency and long range. 100% disappearing mid and rear seats providing a truly flat loading floor. Seats a ton of people if needed. And has amazing utility when needed. The rear hatch opening is ginormous. The doors open 90 degrees. And then there is that huge frunk. Luxury appointments abound. I just wished Lucid got rid of that huge gimmicky glass roof and added a few more buttons and knobs. And of course drop the price to $60k. But the form factor is just pure bliss. I hope they make it.
I don't see any bash plates, the ground clearance looks too low, the tires don't look to be AT, and it doesn't look like it has a locking diff.
Looks like it would be a good grocery getter, people hauler, although it's too long to be a tossable sports car, despite the high HP and great acceleration.
