There will be SS. For the wife, we will start hers at 62, she'll get the minimum. Then I'll start at 70, I'll max out whatever it is then (and she'll then elect for her spousal half of my max rate).
I would be interested in why you choose this path, the PV optimization from https://opensocialsecurity.com/?

The reason I ask is that we are in a similar situation and I have been struggling with what is ideal. As the SS income is not needle-moving, maybe starting it early is the best low-risk case in case something happens to either of us. In our specific situation starting both of our SS at 62 is 91.9% of the 62/70 low/high earner PV.

Don't want to derail your thread, but I haven't been able to find discussion of this situation with searches. Thanks!
