Just to repeat what was already said - if you have a septic tank and you hear gurgling somewhere it's a good idea to check to make sure you don't have a clog/debris at the the outlet that comes into the tank or a full tank etc etc.
I would avoid putting large amounts of water down the drain (laundry, even showers) until you check it out because it's NO FUN when your septic backs up and it happens suddenly. gurgling can sometimes be the only warning.
