Personal Consumer Issues • Organically giving money to nice people - Implications

I used to, for fun, hand out flowers and hugs in common public areas to random people. Most of the time it was all well received, and as long as everyone was respectful it was fine. Some people would get handsy with the hugs(sometimes outright fondling or worse!). Some people would be disgusted that I was handing out flowers that would die quickly, like I was abusing nature. Others would break down crying simply because I showed them a kindness. Others would try to take advantage and try to take extra flowers from me. Sometimes the teenagers would decide I needed a good kick. I would say 99% of the time it was almost always a positive interaction, but every once in a while, it wouldn't be.

I eventually stopped when some meanie pants didn't appreciate me and totally unexpectedly pushed me in front of a moving train. I did manage to roll out of the way in time, to avoid being smooshed. When my literal life is on the line for trying to be kind, I'm out.
Wow, what a great insight into the psychological brokenness of people, walking around on the street in an otherwise normal manner. Thank you for trying though.
