Personal Investments • Traditional 401k or Roth 401k? About to graduate residency

Hi sorry. I never got the notification of this reply. I am in Texas. So you would recommend I open a Roth 401k and roll the 403b Roth into that thru my employer then?

Texas does have strong asset protection laws, so at least you are safe on that end. But still, my preference would be to roll Roth 403(b) to Roth 401(k). You may not live in Texas forever? You may move states?
