So I got tired of the increases in auto insurance for no apparent reason in December...every 6 months Progressive would increase rates.
This is a policy for 2 cars full coverage, both Hyundais....older one is 2016 Accent, and newer one is 2022 Kona.
Got quotes and received an obvious loss-lead quote from State Farm....$1511 for six months compared to Progressive...$1900 +
Insurance started January 8, and a letter dated February 21 was sent to my home, snail-mail. "lack of passive engine immobilizer.""
Went with State Farm, figured they would do the loss lead thing for a couple of cycles.
Is this the Kia-Tiktok problem?
About 43 days of insurance coverage and then dump the car? Nuts!
Can a passive engine immobilizer be installed?
