Investing - Theory, News & General • International (Non-US) versus US Equities (The "Arguments")

I sold all my international holdings and started investing only in US equities (VTI and QQQ) following the March 2020 crash - best decision I have made and more importantly, something that I am more likely to stick with compared to VXUS going forward.
Seems to be holding up really well with almost 4 years worth of data now.
4 years is not a lot of data. VTI has about 3% annualized more than VT

You’ll have to be prepared to hold only US when times are bad, like 2000-2012. It’s easy to hold things when they are going up
I said 4 years because I have only invested in US equities just for that time period. I was holding 30% exUS prior to that.

If 4 years is not good enough for you, you can look at past decade and half worth of data.
