I have an option in my 401k to do In-plan Roth Rollover which I have been using for the last 2 years.
I usually put 3-5k in voluntary after-tax money in my 401k , which then immediately gets rolled over to Roth-401k.
Now, my question is
1. where does this show up in my W2. ?
2. And also, should I get somekind of form from the 401k custodian showing , that I did in-plan roth rollover to my after-tax money?
3. Should this be reported in form 8606 or somekind of other Tax form, in my tax filing?
Thanks
